Since 1949, Capitol Fireproof Door Corporation
has manufactured top-quality fireproof doors and frames to meet
the needs of the real estate and
construction industries. Capitol is a third-generation family-owned
and
operated business servicing the NYC Metropolitan area.
In 1991, Mercury Lock & Door Service Inc.
was formed as a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Capitol, to provide reliable and professional door
installation
and service. Capitol and Mercury together offers its customers
a total
solution for their door sales, installation and servicing requirements.
Capitol and Mercury, owned and managed by
Howard Levine, are guided by
the principles of hard work, good management, quality materials,
and a
'whatever it takes' attitude to ensure that customer needs
are met on a timely
basis.
WORKMANSHIP
We strive hard to ensure that all projects
are completed to our
customers' satisfaction. We do not take short cuts nor do we use
substandard materials. Concerning the installation of welded
frames, we pour cement to hold the frames in place, then finish
plaster where necessary and leave the walls ready to be painted.
Cement grouting ensures years of trouble-free operation. We use
the best grade of commercial hardware available in many
different finishes.
All of our door and hardware installations
conform to
acceptable architectural standards.
WARRANTY
All of our products and workmanship are guaranteed
for a period
of (1) year from date of completion. Some hardware may be
guaranteed longer, please inquire.
INSURANCE
We are a fully licensed and insured door
manufacturing and service company. We carry general liability,
automobile and
workman's compensation insurance and are insured to 2 million
dollars. Copies of the Workman's Comp and Liability Insurance
are available
upon request.
DELIVERY
Delivery by our truck is available within
the 5 boroughs of New York City,
Westchester County and parts of New Jersey. Delivery outside
these areas may be available for additional charges.
HOURS
7:30 am to 4:30pm
Monday to Friday
Closed Sat., Sun. & Holidays
Saturday installations are available at additional costs.
